Synopsis
Two retired slashers reunite at a quiet cabin for a weekend of fishing and nostalgia, but when a young couple tied to one of their pasts arrives, old rivalries ignite, spiraling into a brutal, darkly comic kill-off fueled by ego and age.
About the score
Sweet at the start with a simple guitar, while two old friends are fishing on a lake. Then as competition creeps in, the score follows: cartoonish, almost slapstick in how silly the are towards eachother. It builds. And builds, until it snaps into full 80s slasher, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street. Piercing strings. Driving synths.
At the end, we settle back down into our sweet simple guitar theme. Friendship prevails.
