Synopsis

A documentary from the Hagerty Drivers Foundation chronicling Chrysler's bold 1950s–60s bet on jet-turbine engines, a technology so versatile it could run on nearly anything that burns. It's the story of a radical vision for the future of the automobile, and how close it came to changing everything.

About the score

Woodwinds and chamber orchestra. I wanted this score to feel scientific, like an instrument being used to explain blueprints for a complicated machine. The reference point was 1950s classroom filmstrips and educational shorts, that clean, curious, slightly formal tone science films used to have.
