In this section, I’ll be posting video walkthroughs of some special projects. I talk about the instruments I use, and thought process behind a composition. This is to give you some insight into how I work, and what it’s like to work with me. Enjoy!
Hex - An inspiring 90s jazz fusion track
Watch me build a 1990's inspired jazz fusion track. Linn drums, face-melting but sensitive guitar, and some Roland MKS-20. Inspired by the works of Scofield, Metheny, Stern from a very specific time period.
TOMS - an organic handmade track
This is an organic, hopeful track full of guitars, vocals, and percussion. I talk you through the creative choices I make to bring a pair of shoes to life. This spot was made as part of CDDP, the Creative Directors Diversity Program.
Webflow - a quirky, weird, cinematic track
Here I talk you through a weird and quirky cinematic world we made for Webflow. The very site I'm typing this into right now. Beatle bass, parlor guitars, pizz strings. This is very plucky.
DeLorean Documentary - a cinematic, thoughtful electronic track
Here I talk through the concepts and instrumentation of a cue from 88MPH: The Story of the DeLorean Time Machine. It's a mix of analog synths and acoustic percussion, all bouncing around soaked in verb.
Playdate - a fun techy upbeat gaming track
Watch me build a zany, exciting track to promote the launch of a handheld, retro gaming system. It's sort of a blend of electronic and acoustic elements. 808s and ukuleles.
Slack - a bouncy organic feelgood track
Sandwich figured out how to make a video when everyone else was in lock-down during the height of the pandemic. I talk through some of the organic and bouncy piano and banjo I used in the track. You even get to see a cameo of me and my kiddos in the spot.
